- In the interests of preserving the visual amenity contributions of the subject trees and protecting their contribution to the character and appearance of the visual landscape. The trees have been planted to provide succession planting to a number of mature, prominent trees removed to enable the development that were protected by a Tree Preservation Order. The trees have been planted as part of the landscaping scheme for the development and serve to integrate and soften the massing of the building into the visual landscape.
