- Made 12 March 2018 (Cabinet decision of 19 February 2018) and confirmed 8 April 2019 (Cabinet decision of 25 March 2019), when it came into force. End date: Class O was revoked from 1 August 2021 and, under article 15(3) of SI 2021/428, article 4 directions withdrawing Class O continued to apply to the equivalent Class MA development only until 31 July 2022; the direction has had no effect since. Class E to residential change of use in Hackney is now controlled by the 2022 directions (A4D-2022-*). Document URL is the council's Cabinet report with the direction appended; the sealed copy formerly published on hackney.gov.uk is no longer online. The direction is no longer described on the council's article 4 page.
