- Made 20 July 2015 (Cabinet decision LHR L12 of 22 June 2015) and confirmed 15 September 2016, when it came into force. End date: Class O was revoked from 1 August 2021 and, under article 15(3) of SI 2021/428, article 4 directions withdrawing Class O continued to apply to the equivalent Class MA development only until 31 July 2022; the direction has had no effect since. Class E to residential change of use in Hackney is now controlled by the 2022 directions (A4D-2022-*).
