- Made 20 July 2015 (Cabinet decision LHR L11 of 22 June 2015) and confirmed 15 September 2016, when it came into force. End date: from 1 August 2021 (SI 2021/428) Class M no longer permits change of use from shops or financial and professional services (now Class E) to dwellinghouses, so this direction has had no effect since; Class E to residential change of use is now controlled by the 2022 directions (A4D-2022-*).
